Chatree Saiyasombat dissertation

Congratulations to Chatree Saiyasombat who successfully defended his dissertation, Preparation, structure and properties of gold-based ‘ruby’ sodium silicate glass: A model metal-glass nano-composite on April 22. His advisor is Himanshu Jain. After graduation in May, Chatree is headed to Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, where he will continue his work at Synchrotron Light Research Institute.

Don Smyth 1930-2015

Professor Emeritus Don Smyth passed away on Saturday, April 25.  Don was a colleague and dear friend to many at Lehigh MSE, and he will be greatly missed.
