Lesley Chow, assistant professor of Materials Science and Engineering, was invited to present two seminars at the School of Engineering in the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in September.
Designing modular biomaterials with spatially organized cues to guide functional tissue regeneration was given to UAB’s Biomedical Engineering department. Chow also presented Designing modular biomaterials with spatially organized functionality to their Materials Science and Engineering department.
During her stay, Chow visited UAB’s Materials Processing and Applications Development (MPAD) Center and their foundry. MPAD is UAB’s state-of-the-art research center specializing in research and development of high performance, lightweight engineering materials, processes, and products.
