Hahn to lead Honeywell division

Lehigh MSE distinguished alum Terrence S. Hahn, B.S. ’88, M.Eng. ’92, has been named president and CEO of Honeywell’s new Home and Building Technologies group.

Hahn and his wife, Joan D. Stanescu, B.S. ’87, M.S. ’92, were awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award from Lehigh’s department of materials science and engineering in 2015 for global leadership in the advancement of materials technology and exemplary service and support as alumni ambassadors of MSE.

Hahn also earned an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Hahn previously served as president and CEO of Honeywell Transportation Systems, as well as vice president and general manager of Honeywell’s Fluorine Products business. Prior to joining Honeywell in 2007, Hahn spent 20 years with Air Products and Chemicals, last serving as senior director for the company’s global Electronic Specialty Materials business in Taiwan.
